Travelling, especially off the beaten track, is an important part of my life. As can be seen from my posts, articles and pictures on my social media over the past few years, Papua New Guinea and its surroundings hold a special place in my heart.
Another video production from the series 'One day in...'. This time I flew to the East New Britain Province in order to participate the Warwagira & Mask Festival at Kokopo. All footage was taken in Gazelle Peninsula. Again, just pure natural background audio was used.
The second video from the series 'One day in...'. All footage in this production was taken from Namatanai in New Ireland Island to New Hanover in the north. Like before, no narration, no background music, just pure natural background audio was used.
My third adventure to Papua New Guinea began in Kavieng. Putting together a journey with a festival worked excellently in 2018. Therefore, I also followed this idea in 2019. The trip to New Ireland was concluded by Warwagira & Mask Festival at Kokopo in East New Britain Province.

After visiting the remote Highlands in 2013, I decided to explore the tropical coastline for a change. Consequently, my choice fell on the annual Milne Bay Canoe & Kundu Festival held in Alotau, with a visit to the Varirata National Park in order to spot birds of paradise.
Wantok Specialists are travel experts in Papua New Guinea, like travel agents and outbound tour operators. 'Wantok' in Tok-Pisin means 'fellow countrymen' which are originally two or more people having the same mother-tongue ("One talk - Wantok").

'SNAP! SHARE! WIN!? is a photography competition organised by PNG Tourism Promotion Authority dedicated to all who have visited Papua New Guinea. The prize was awarded for a picture I took in the Highlands, Enga Province during my first ever trip to PNG.
The article 'Would you go backpacking alone in Papua New Guinea?' from The Green Buddy magazine is published as a cover story in the PNG's The National magazine two years later. Consequently, I received several kind messages from random people and interest about the trip.

Very amateur and extremely shaky, but giving a scope of soul of the trip. Scuba diving on the Great Barrier Reef, followed by a flight to Papua New Guinea, where I spent one month in total: one week in Port Moresby, then two weeks in The Highlands, and the last week in Madang Province.
