SNAPSHOT NIUGINI

My interest in nature and exploring started when I was still a kid, and it has never faded. Being brought up on David Attenborough's documentaries, influenced by Gerald Durrell's books and Arcady Fidler's biography, I planned that everything I saw and read in those days, I would experience by myself in the future. Nowadays, I have turned my youthful dreams into reality by travelling the world.

After experiencing four continents and thirty odd countries, I landed on one that stole my heart and renewed my concept of travelling, Papua New Guinea. Since then, instead of setting one foot in yet another foreign country, I have been much more interested in coming back to "The Land of The Unexpected" to explore another province. Flamboyant cultures, extraordinary flora and fauna, smouldering volcanoes, coral-ringed islands, breathtaking rugged mountains, luminous coral reefs, meandering rivers, and all of this is combined with Melanesian hospitality, making the country special. You are literally overwhelmed by fantastic SNAPSHOT opportunities!

Today, I would love to share my passion with others by posting pictures, publishing articles, but also by touring as a SNAPSHOT NIUGINI guide. My intention is for people to experience Papua New Guinea in the similar, sustainable way as I do. Mingling with locals, eating market food and travelling off the beaten track are part of my story. From my experience travelling in Papua New Guinea requires a pinch of flexibility and lots of spare time, as things can go slow and can be unpredictable. Not for nothing, Papua New Guinea is called "The Land of The Unexpected". If you manage it, you will be rewarded with a lifetime of unique experiences that you can not compare to any other journey you have been on before.

Are you ready for a new adventure?
