With eerie, harsh volcanic landscapes colored with sulphur, misty waterfalls and rugged mountains, steep cliffs covered with lush, tropical vegetation, Papua New Guinea has plenty of breathtaking places to stop and savour the terrain. The Bismarck Archipelago provides dramatic sceneries for all volcano lovers; from the active Kadovar located nearby East Sepik Province, to the still occasionally smoking Tavurvur in the most eastern corner of East New Britain Province. The Highlands offer spectacular mountains, with high valleys between towering peaks and magnificent waterfalls. Enga's Yuo Waterfall, Wasi Falls in the Southern Province or Western Province?s Wawoi Falls are only some examples of breathtaking geological phenomenon. On the other hand, the Cape Nelson in Oro Province is made up of steep fjords covered with dense exotic forest.
